Saltburn

Saltburn is a seaside town on the north east coast. It's about 25 miles from where I live and we visit quite often. You have to drive or walk down a steep bank from the town to the beach. There is a cliff lift, a funicular, which is quite famous and interesting. There is a great pier - one of the few in the country.
Great cafes and fish & chips.
